About Unsolving

Most problems are not hard because solutions are missing. They are hard because the problem itself is poorly understood.

Unsolving is about learning how to see problems before trying to fix them.
It explores how problems are framed, simplified, distorted, or ignored in everyday life, work, policy, and business.

This site is for anyone who deals with complexity and feels that “obvious solutions” rarely work as promised.

Who is behind?

I’m Roberto, a teacher, researcher, and policy analyst at Sciences Po.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked on complex problems in cities and institutions, studying how we define them, why we misdiagnose them, and what that costs us.

Unsolving is where I share frameworks, reflections, and practical ways of thinking to approach problems more clearly and more honestly.
